Nevada's fishing holes are surprisingly more numerous than most people think, being that much of Nevada is considered dessert. It is the state with the least amount of precipitation per year. Nevada, however, is known for it's largemouth bass, striped bass, and trout. Many man made lakes and reservois are home to excellent fishing, as well as over 500 fishable streams and rivers.
