Welcome to the United States

Venturing on a fishing road trip in the United States is extremely easy; in a country where everyone seems to be forever on the move, there's rarely any problem finding a room for the night, and you can almost always depend on being able to eat well and inexpensively. We list hundreds of great fishing lodges, resorts and guides throughout the United States and your experience of the country will be very much flavoured by how you choose to get around. You can pull up to a lodge in your truck or be flown in by small plane. You choose your adventure.

By far the best way to explore the country is to drive your own vehicle: it takes a long time before the sheer pleasure of cruising down the highway, with the radio blaring blues or country music, the signs to Spokane, Tulsa or Billings flashing past, begins to bore. The folks at Fishresource.com have done most of our fishing trips throughout the United States by way of road trip, including our jeep trip to Alaska, one of our most memorable experiences. Car rental is a bargain, every main road is lined with budget motels charging around $40 per night for a good room, and the price of gasoline remains relatively low. Check out our listings in the United States and have fun exploring at the same time.
